We work with our industry partners, employees, strategic suppliers, communities and government agencies to drive sustainability across our entire value chain. We actively aim to recycle our own waste, use recycled materials for manufacturing and packaging, and source energy from renewable energy providers — because responsible manufacturing is not just a commitment, it's the standard we hold ourselves to.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Choosing Convotherm means choosing a partner who takes responsibility – for your kitchen and for the planet. Our main manufacturing site in Bavaria runs entirely on renewable energy, but sustainability doesn't stop at our factory gates. Every Convotherm combi oven is built to save energy, reduce water consumption and minimise waste in your kitchen, day after day. Our manufacturing facilities have earned ISO 9001 certification – the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems. These standards drive us to reduce costs, minimize waste and continuously improve productivity throughout our operations. Our Eglfing, Germany facility additionally holds ISO 14001 certification, the leading global standard for environmental management, demonstrating our structured commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.

ENERGY EFFICIENT PRODUCTS

As part of our energy conservation program, we offer an extensive portfolio of energy-efficient products — including combi ovens that comply with ENERGY STAR® standards. Our EnerLogic® program helps maximize energy, gas and water savings by identifying the most energy-efficient equipment for your kitchen. We continuously work to increase the proportion of products with an eco-label or those designed according to "Design for Environment" standards. Our Commitment to Greater Biodiversity 

On the grounds of our production site in Eglfing, we are proud to introduce our very own beehives — a small but meaningful expression of our commitment to biodiversity and a healthy environment. The bees will pollinate the surrounding vegetation, enrich the local ecosystem, and serve as a daily reminder that sustainable action reaches far beyond the boundaries of our production.

LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

We understand that responsible lifecycle management reduces the total environmental impact of professional kitchen equipment. From design to end-of-life, we aim to use recycled materials in manufacturing, packaging and delivery — and we actively support our customers in recycling and disposing of equipment responsibly.
