Eglfing, Germany (14 October 2025) – The Convotherm mini pro was honored with the ICONIC AWARD 2025 on 7 October 2025, at the BMW Welt in Munich. The German Design Council presents this award to recognize outstanding product design that uniquely combines function, technology, and aesthetics. The award was accepted by Arndt Manter, Director of Product Management at Convotherm; Hannes Wild, Manager of Intellectual Property (IP), Standards & Benchmarking, Core Projects at Convotherm; as well as Ute Walliser and Markus Hillemann from Hillemann Design.

The jury praised in particular the compact, stackable design, which makes the oven ideal for small professional kitchens and front-cooking areas. The intuitive operation, featuring optional AI-driven Optical Cooking with food recognition and automatic sensors, also impressed the panel. Smart technology simplifies handling, reduces food waste, and improves both energy and water efficiency. According to the independent jury, the high-quality stainless steel and glass housing, available in silver or matte black, ensures a hygienic, durable, and modern appearance.
