Bocuse d'Or Europe 2022 in Hungary

Eglfing, Germany - Bocuse d'Or Europe, the European selection event for the world's most prestigious cooking competition, the Bocuse d'Or, will be held in Hungary during Sirha Budapest on March 23 and 24, 2022. For more than 20 years, Welbilt's Convotherm brand has supported this exceptional competition as the main sponsor. This year's selected menu, consisting of a game meat platter as well as a vegetarian dish that pays tribute to local potato varieties, will be prepared using pioneering technologies from Convotherm combi ovens. For the first time, the new generation of combi steamers, the Convotherm maxx pro, will be used to support the ambitious professional chefs from 18 European countries in their preparations. Ten country teams will cook their way to one of the coveted places at the elimination in Hungary to participate in the grand finale of the Bocuse d'Or on January 22 and 23, 2023 in Lyon, France.
