And to celebrate the launch, Convotherm is offering free cleaning chemicals with purchase of every new mini purchased by December 31, 2019 - an $1,800 list price value.

"Less is more" is a true description of Convotherm’s new mini as it offers a wide range of possible applications.  With a width of only 20 inches, it fits in any kitchen and still offers an amazingly generous cooking chamber for efficient cooking, thanks to its innovative design. The new mini’s exterior has been improved with an extra-large observation window and a black control panel, and the 6.10 mini is now even smaller at only 33 inches deep. New also this year is a black matte finish option which is perfect for front-of-house applications and is designed to pair with the Merrychef eikon® e2s black speed oven.  "The matte surface of the black mini option gives it a clean and elegant look, and it’s perfect for c-stores, bakeries, snack bars, coffee shops, cafés and much more", commented Deb Friar, Field Marketing Manager for Convotherm and Merrychef. 

Professional cooking in the smallest space
Thanks to its compact size, coupled with a large cooking chamber, the Convotherm mini is ideal for all customers. Smaller customers benefit from having the breadth of combi cooking applications in a tiny space, with many customers stacking two minis to expand capacity without the need for additional valuable space under the hood. Large customers install a larger production Convotherm 4 in the kitchen and the mini combi in the dining area close to the customer to ensure hot bread and molten cakes are quickly served at their highest quality. Even schools are replacing steamers with mini combis to maximize menu variety and drive participation rates by delivering more appealing and tastier food. Utilizing the new ConvoVent Mini hood by Halton expands the installation opportunities to non-traditional locations - every “nook and cranny” can now become a “mini” kitchen to more easily serve your customers.

Automated cooking processes and easy operation
The “easyStart” feature in the Convotherm mini easyTouch®, which handles baking and cooking for several product categories, is a particular bonus for users. The touchscreen shows the user all possible products suitable for mixed loads, ensuring that the mini is loaded with the right product types and amounts at all times. It is guaranteed that all food produced in the combi oven is cooked to perfection due to the new, automated cooking compensation feature. The mini easyTouch® also has an intuitive picture-based user interface, meaning that all staff can use the mini with minimal training, even if English is not their first language.

Multi-unit operators depend on Press&Go, which ensures their chef’s signature dishes are flawlessly executed in each location, regardless of the staff’s culinary skill.  And it’s easy to update or create menus on your laptop, then send them directly to each combi-oven’s controller through your company’s secure network.

New safety and serviceability features
The new mini touts several new features. The new Safe Cool Down allows the operator to cool the combi-oven quickly and safely with the door closed. Steam Protect automatically vents steam prior to the end of every cook cycle, reducing the heat and moisture that typically escapes when the door is opened.  And, an additional service access panel improves serviceability while additional cleaning cycles makes quick clean up a breeze.

Please ensure that only software which is suitable for the unit series is installed on your Convotherm unit. This software cannot be used for other unit types from the range. If this is disregarded, no liability will be assumed for malfunctions.
