Prison version – to be on the safe side.

All CONVOTHERM combi steamers are carried out as basic prison versions. This grants a safe use in prisons.

The basic version features the following characteristics:

• In-out-fundtion: The units can be opened from the inside as long as they are not latched.
• Key lock: different keys in the control panel can be locked. The release is carried out by typing a three-digit code.
• Safety glass: the glass panes of the doors consist of specially hardened one-pane safety glass. Crumbling > 240 fragments on a square of 50mm. the standard value for. The standard value for safety crumbling is 60.)
• If desired units of the OB series can be delivered without core temperature sensor.

On customer request the units can be additionally equipped with individual safety features.
